Selena Etc.
Selena had another dream and a passion to do other things and one of those was to open up her own boutiques. This dream happened in January 1994 when she opened up her first boutique. All together she had opened up 2, one in San Antonio and one in Corpus Chriti. She was planning on opening one up in Monterrey, Mexico to make the prices cheaper so everyone could afford her clothes. Sadly that never happened and one of her boutiques the one in San Antonio closed after her death. Selena had 3 fashion shows to show off her designs and wore the same dress to all three shows. Selena also wanted to do her own make-up line, you can hear her say that in the Behind the Scene of No Me Queda Mas.
Also along that line she wanted to do her own perfume line. Amor Prohibido the perfume that came out after Selena’s death is supposedly the scent she had chosen. Of course she didn’t pick out the name and Bidi Bidi Bom Bom and Como La Flor was what Selena’s Family did trying to pick out scents that Selena would of done.
